Mike Cassidy-Hogg

When I was sixteen, I suffered a back injury doing karate and developed sciatica – sharp shooting pain down the back of my left leg. I had trouble walking, and the GP was only able to offer me painkillers.

So, I saw a private physiotherapist and then a chiropractor, who both helped me so much that I decided to become a chiropractor, and graduated from the University of Glamorgan in Wales with a BSc (Hons) Chiropractic in 2004.

I’m a qualified Personal Trainer and have always had a fascination with exercise science. And I also love creating things, and have built an online course to help people with back pain, a Perfect Posture Kit, and am currently working on a supplement range.

In 2012 I met my wife Lucy ‘by chance’ on a crowded train, and seven years later our beautiful daughter Cadence was born. Lucy and I go kitesurfing together, and I’m also a percussionist and enjoy making music.
