Massage Therapist

Ever since I was a child I enjoyed competing in sports. When I was 18, I partially dislocated my shoulder doing gymnastics. Physiotherapy treatment didn’t seem to improve my shoulder mobility or pins and needles. I did however experience a significant improvement after receiving a few sessions of intense massage at a sports therapy clinic whilst attending college. The deep tissue work helped to break down scar tissue within the joint which brought me great relief.

Whilst at college I completed my Level 2 gym instructor qualification and continued down the line of alternative therapy courses. I began to train as an osteopath and completed a Level 3 sports massage therapy course. Due to a health condition, I had to discontinue the osteopathy and continued to work as a sports massage therapist. In addition, I gained valuable experience managing a rehabilitation clinic where patients regained strength after injury.

I am delighted to be a part of the team at family chiropractic, where I have the opportunity to help others in the way that I was helped.
